Sultan’s Special Force Celebrates Annual Day with Graduation Ceremony

Muscat, Oman – The Sultan’s Special Force (SSF) marked its annual day with a grand celebration on March 15. The event featured the graduation of a new batch of soldier recruits and was held at Al Sumood Camp’s military parade ground.

A Ceremony of Prestige and Honor

The ceremony was held under the patronage of Gen. Sultan Mohammed Al Nu’mani, Minister of the Royal Office. Upon his arrival, the Royal Guard of Oman’s band played the Royal Anthem, setting the stage for the prestigious event.

The graduates stood in formation, delivering a military salute to the chief guest. Following this, Gen. Al Nu’mani inspected the front row before witnessing a parade and military performance by the new recruits.

Recognizing Excellence and Dedication

During the event, Gen. Al Nu’mani honored the top-performing graduates, presenting them with awards for their excellence. The new soldiers then took the Oath of Allegiance, followed by three chants of ā€œLong live His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, the Supreme Commander.ā€

In addition, senior officers, officers, and non-commissioned officers from the Sultan’s Special Force received the ā€œMedal of Excellent Serviceā€ and the ā€œMedal of Royal Commendationā€. These prestigious awards recognized their dedication, commitment, and service to the nation.
