Sultan Qaboos University (SQU) has unveiled the ‘Afaq’ programme, aiming to enhance its international stature and align with Oman Vision 2040’s educational objectives. This initiative seeks to diversify the student body by admitting up to 300 international and Omani students who were unable to secure placements through the Unified Admission Centre. The programme will offer seats across various colleges and specializations, excluding the College of Medicine and Health Sciences. Prospective international students can apply via SQU’s official website, while Omani students should apply through the Unified Admissions Centre, adhering to specific criteria. All accepted students will be subject to the university’s standard academic regulations.
