Muscat: The iconic Ruwi Clock Tower became the center of unity and generosity as thousands gathered for Oman’s largest community iftar on March 14. This grand Ramadan gathering, organized by the Deccani Wing of the Indian Social Club Oman (ISC), has been a beloved tradition for over two decades. It welcomes people from diverse nationalities to share in the spirit of giving, compassion, and cultural harmony.

A Celebration of Brotherhood and Togetherness

The community iftar at Ruwi Clock Tower is more than just a meal. It embodies the values of Ramadan, fostering stronger bonds, cultural exchange, and social harmony. Suhail Khan, head of the iftar organizing committee, highlighted the event’s role in promoting brotherhood and inclusivity.

“The gathering welcomed people from diverse backgrounds, promoting the spirit of brotherhood and unity,” he said.

He also expressed gratitude to volunteers from all walks of life. Their efforts in distributing meals, managing logistics, and creating an atmosphere of solidarity ensured the event’s success.
