MUSCAT: Ali Shah XI emerged victorious against Lahore United, winning by 10 runs in the ongoing Pakistan School Muscat (PSM) Ramadan Tape-ball Cricket Tournament.
Batting first, Ali Shah XI set an impressive total of 116 runs without losing a wicket. Yasir smashed 54 runs off 17 balls, while Taha contributed 52 runs in 28 balls. Lahore United, in response, fell short, managing only 106 runs. For his half-century and taking a crucial wicket, Taha was named Man of the Match.
MTB XI Dominates Tuskers X
In another thrilling encounter, MTB XI secured a seven-wicket win against Tuskers X. Batting first, Tuskers struggled to 80 runs for the loss of six wickets. MTB XI chased the target comfortably, thanks to an explosive knock from Bilal, who scored 56 runs off just 12 balls. His outstanding performance earned him the Man of the Match award.
MIB Fighters Outclass ABP Avengers
MIB Fighters registered a comprehensive 50-run victory against ABP Avengers. Batting first, MIB Fighters put up a commanding total of 132 runs for six wickets in eight overs. Arshman played a crucial role, scoring 41 runs in 18 balls.
Avengers struggled in response, managing only 81 runs in eight overs. Arshman also shined with the ball, claiming three key wickets, solidifying his all-round performance.
