Berlin, Germany – The Sultanate of Oman has officially kicked off its participation in the International Tourism Exchange (ITB) Berlin 2025, one of the world’s largest travel and tourism exhibitions. The event, taking place in the German capital, Berlin, will run for three days, bringing together key players from the global tourism industry.
Oman’s delegation at ITB Berlin 2025 includes representatives from the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism, along with 54 travel, tourism, and hospitality companies and four strategic partners. The country’s participation aims to position Oman as a top tourist destination, offering unique and diverse travel experiences that cater to a wide range of interests.

Germany: A Key Market for Oman’s Tourism Growth
According to the National Centre for Statistics and Information, Germany ranks as the leading European market for Omani tourism. By the end of last year, over 135,000 German tourists visited Oman, making it the fourth-largest source of international visitors after the UAE, India, and Yemen. Additionally, in December alone, European tourist arrivals to Oman reached approximately 103,800.
