Orlando, FL – A fire broke out at Walt Disney World’s EPCOT on Saturday evening. The incident forced the evacuation of visitors from Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure.
Smoke Rises Over EPCOT’s France Pavilion
According to Fox35 Orlando, the fire started in the backstage area of the France Pavilion around 7 p.m. The smoke quickly filled the sky.
Guests Safely Evacuated
Disney officials confirmed that all guests and staff were evacuated from the ride. They extinguished the fire quickly, and no injuries occurred.
Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure offers a 4D ride experience. Guests “join Chef Remy on a culinary caper” through a Parisian kitchen.
Fire Breaks Out Amid EPCOT’s Festival
At the time, EPCOT hosted the International Flower & Garden Festival, a key seasonal event.
Local authorities continue investigating the fire’s cause, but park operations have resumed.
