The video, aired by local news, shows employees being forced to crawl on their knees like animals and lick coins from the floor. The report also mentions other cruel actions such as making employees wear belts around their necks, eat rotten fruit, and drink water like animals.

Kerala Labour Ministry Launches Investigation

The Labour Ministry of Kerala has launched a probe into the incident after the disturbing visuals surfaced. V. Sivankutty, the state’s Labour Minister, called the footage “shocking and disturbing.” He stressed that such treatment cannot be tolerated in Kerala.

Minister Sivankutty ordered the district labour officer to conduct a full investigation. The officer must submit a report on the matter as soon as possible.

Minister Condemns Inhumane Treatment

Minister Sivankutty condemned the abuse and made it clear that Kerala will not accept such behavior. The government will take the necessary actions to ensure justice for the affected employees and hold the company accountable.
