Gameloft Warns Players About Multiplayer Violations in Disney Dreamlight Valley
The developers of Disney Dreamlight Valley, Gameloft, have responded to growing concerns surrounding recent multiplayer bans and warnings issued to players. To maintain a fair gaming environment, the company has reinforced its stance on enforcing community guidelines and discouraging exploitative interactions. Players are urged to follow the official multiplayer rules to avoid penalties and ensure an enjoyable experience for all.
Disney Dreamlight Valley Multiplayer Features and Restrictions
In Disney Dreamlight Valley’s multiplayer mode, players can visit friends’ Valleys, fostering social exploration and trading. The game enables players to exchange resources, shop at Scrooge McDuck’s Store, and purchase items while visiting other Valleys. However, there are limitations—players cannot interact with furniture or fully utilize in-game tools when in another player’s world. Gameloft has hinted at expanding multiplayer interactivity in future updates.
Gameloft’s Official Statement on Multiplayer Bans
To address the confusion, Gameloft released an official Discord announcement clarifying its multiplayer policies. The company warns against engaging with individuals or groups offering in-game resources that may have been obtained through exploits or game modifications. This is part of Gameloft’s ongoing commitment to preserving the integrity of the Disney Dreamlight Valley online community.

Gameloft Issues Advisory on Room Size Modifications
In addition to multiplayer concerns, Gameloft has issued a warning about modifying room dimensions in Disney Dreamlight Valley. Specifically, altering the central room to 6×8, 10×6, or 10×8 may cause serious gameplay issues, including blocking re-entry to the house or disabling access to the Elevator feature. Other room sizes remain unaffected, and Gameloft is actively working on a fix for this issue.
The ability to customize room sizes was a long-awaited feature introduced in the Tales of Agrabah update. This update also added a new Realm door in the Dream Castle, allowing players to explore Agrabah’s bustling market. Additionally, beloved Disney characters Aladdin and Jasmine have made their debut, bringing new Friendship Quests and exciting Friendship Rewards.
What’s Next for Disney Dreamlight Valley Multiplayer?
As Gameloft continues refining Disney Dreamlight Valley, future updates are expected to introduce more interactive multiplayer elements and fix existing issues. Players are encouraged to follow official guidelines, avoid engaging with exploiters, and report any suspicious activities to maintain a safe and fair multiplayer experience.
