A delegation of businesswomen from Uzbekistan will visit Oman on Tuesday. They aim to build economic ties and explore business partnerships with Omani counterparts. The delegation, led by Nodira Shah Tursunova, Vice President of the Uzbekistan Chamber of Commerce, includes 20 women from various sectors. These sectors include real estate, design, electrical engineering, textiles, private education, medicine, and import-export.
Abdulsalam Hatamov, Uzbekistan’s Ambassador to Oman, said the visit will strengthen the relationship between the two countries. It will focus on economic and cultural cooperation. The Uzbekistan Embassy, along with the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry, has planned a series of events. These include meetings with officials from both sectors, as well as visits to Omani companies.
The visit will also feature workshops led by Uzbek embroidery artisans in Muscat. Additionally, a fashion show will highlight the textile and design industries. One of the key events will be a business forum where Uzbek and Omani businesswomen can discuss economic and investment opportunities.
This visit follows the cooperation agreement signed between the two chambers of commerce last year. The agreement has led to further exchanges and business forums.
