Ben Folds Announces 2025 Tour with Symphony Shows and Paper Airplane Requests

Ben Folds has announced his 2025 tour, featuring solo performances, symphony collaborations, and the return of his Paper Airplane Request Tour. The tour begins on March 18-19 in Kansas City, Missouri, with a performance alongside the Kansas City Symphony.

A Unique Musical Experience

Folds will perform with symphony orchestras in Detroit, Milwaukee, and Chicago. These concerts blend alternative rock, classical music, and piano-driven pop, creating a memorable experience.

The Paper Airplane Request Tour returns as well. Fans write song requests on paper airplanes and toss them onto the stage. This interactive event takes place in Johnson City, Tennessee (April 11), and Marietta, Ohio (April 12).

Solo Performances and Tour Highlights

Along with symphony performances, Folds will play solo concerts in Warren, Ohio; Wausau, Wisconsin; and Portland, Maine. The tour ends on December 2, 2025, in Portland, Oregon.

As the former frontman of Ben Folds Five, he is known for hits like Brick, Army, and The Luckiest. He has collaborated with Regina Spektor and Weird Al Yankovic. Folds has also served as a judge on NBC’s The Sing-Off and worked as an artistic advisor for the National Symphony Orchestra.
