A distinguished delegation of businesswomen from Uzbekistan is poised to visit Oman next Tuesday, aiming to cultivate strategic economic collaborations and establish robust business partnerships with their Omani counterparts. This initiative underscores a significant stride in fortifying bilateral relations between the two nations, with a pronounced focus on economic and cultural synergies.
The delegation, comprising approximately 20 eminent Uzbek business leaders from sectors such as real estate, design, electrical engineering, textiles, private education, medicine, and import-export, is spearheaded by Nodira Shah Tursunova, the esteemed Vice President of the Uzbekistan Chamber of Commerce.
H.E. Abdulsalam Hatamov, the Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Oman, emphasized that this visit is a testament to the unwavering commitment to bolster bilateral relations between Oman and Uzbekistan. In collaboration with the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Uzbekistan Embassy has meticulously curated a comprehensive program for the delegation. This includes high-level meetings with officials from both public and private sectors in Oman and insightful visits to several leading commercial enterprises.
The itinerary is enriched with cultural engagements, featuring workshops conducted by skilled Uzbek embroidery artisans in Muscat and an exclusive fashion show orchestrated by luminaries from the textile and design industries. A pivotal highlight of the visit is a business forum designed to facilitate in-depth discussions on economic and investment cooperation between Uzbek and Omani businesswomen. This initiative builds upon a cooperation agreement inked last year between the chambers of commerce of both nations, which has already catalyzed the exchange of delegations and the orchestration of business forums.
